300g/m2 Fiberglass Emulsion chopped Strand Mat

This is the strandard kind of fiberglass reinforcement which is used with polyester resin in hand lay up.

The emulsion binder fiberglass chopped strand mat will be dissolved by resin within the resin and also the fiberglass is totally wet out with resin when the laminate virtually becomes clear. The resin demand is 2.25 : 1 , which means 1kg of fiberglass mat desires 2.25kg of resin to wet it out.

Fibreglass mat is simple to drape over advanced shapes and moulds into corners with no springback. The fiberglass mat is approved to be used in marine and boat maintenance apllications, potable water tanks, industrial and cosmetic mouldings, automotive repairs, building and caravan maintenance applications.
